Wolves legend Steve Bull has warned the side they face an extremely tough test against Middlesbrough in the Sky Bet Championship tomorrow.

Tony Pulis' side are unbeaten in six games and have managed to force their way into the play-offs but will know that dropping points against the league leaders could see them end the weekend back outside the top six.

And, Bull told the Express & Star that his former side can't get complacent against the north east side. "Middlesbrough are a strong, in-form side and we can’t take it lightly."

"The worst thing to do would be to underestimate them – they’ve got an old-school manager in Pulis who knows how to grind out results."

Should Nuno Espirito Santo's men get the three points it would be a rare occurance for Wolves, who hae a truly abysmal record on Teesside. The Black Country side haven't won their for 67 years, a run which includes 25 games.

However, Bull insists that won't have any bearing tomorrow.

"Records are there to be broken. I don’t think it’s going to mean much to someone like Ruben Neves – these players are a class above and they won’t think about things like that."

The Verdict

You can't disagree with what Bull says and there's no way Santo will be taking Boro lightly as they boast a quality squad that are just beginning to perform.

Fortunately for Wolves, they have got themselves into a position where they can still cope with a defeat, so the pressure is all on the hosts tomorrow which could benefit Santo's men.
