50% pass success rate: The Leeds United man who really failed to impress against Wolves

It was another disappointing evening in the Sky Bet Championship for Leeds United, who were taught a footballing lesson by Wolverhampton Wanderers at Elland Road last night.

Wolves ran out 3-0 winners at Elland Road, with Paul Heckingbottom’s side struggling to live with the Championship’s leaders, who picked up three points thanks to goals from Romain Saiss, Willy Boly and Benik Afobe.

Leeds never got close to competing with Leeds at Elland Road, with Heckingbottom’s side failing to create any real opportunities to test John Ruddy, who enjoyed a quiet evening.

Pierre-Michel Lasogga cut an isolated figure in attack for Leeds, with the on-loan German forward failing to have an impact as his teammates struggled.

Here at FLW, we take a look at Lasogga’s contribution last night:

Lasogga completed 73 minutes of the 90 against Wolves, but managed just two shots on goal with his chances limited.

It was an extremely quiet evening for the forward against a solid defensive unit, with the 26-year-old managing just eight passes in 73 minutes, which were completed at a success rate of 50%.

The physicality of Wolves’ defence often proved to be too much for Lasogga, who managed to win just one free-kick, with the striker’s biggest contribution coming defensively, where he made two clearances.

Leeds fans… What did you make of Lasogga’s contribution against Wolves? Let us know your thoughts!
