West Ham currently sit sixth in yhe Premier League, and have made a very impressive start under new boss Slaven Bilic.

Bilic has led the Hammers to impressive away wins over Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City, whilst last week they beat an out of form Chelsea side at Upton Park.

The Croatian will be pleased with the summer signings that have made an impact for the East London outfit, such as Dimitri Payet, and Victor Moses.

However, one problem the Upton Park side do have is players that are not getting much game time.

A perfect chance for these players to get match fitness under their belt is by joining a club in the Sky Bet Championship, and therefore dropping down a league.

These transfers may be loan deals if Bilic sees a future for these players at West Ham, or permanent ones if Bilic doesn't see them making an impact.

Here's FIVE players that should make the move to a Championship club.....

Joey O'Brien

Currently recovering from injury, O'Brien could look to regain match fitness at a Championship club.

The versatile defender's only appearances this season have come in the Europa League, but with Bilic having players such as Carl Jenkinson and James Tomkins available, you feel O'Brien may find his chances limited at West Ham.

O'Brien would bring a wealth of experience to any Championship side, having made over 150 league appearances in his career.

Stephen Hendrie

The left-back has found his opportunities limited since arriving at Upton Park, having not made an appearance for the club yet.

The former Hamilton man will be looking for a loan away from Upton Park to the Championship, and would be a good fit for most Championship sides.

Despite being only 20 years of age, Hendrie has made 100 league appearances in Scottish football, so will bring some experience to a Championship side.

Josh Cullen

The energetic centre midfielder has impressed at West Ham since making his debut in the Europa League, but needs more experience in order to make a breakthrough to the first team.

The 19-year-old is capped for the Republic of Ireland under 21's, so clearly has potential to be a top player.

A loan deal to the Championship would do the centre midfielder the world of good.

Doneil Henry

Henry has had a previous loan spell in the Championship, having made three league appearances for Blackburn Rovers last season.

The 22-year-old defender has been capped 14 times for the Canadian senior team, so is obviously rated as an international player.

Henry would definitely benefit from a loan or permanent move to the Championship, as first team football is key for his development.

Martin Samuelson

Samuelson is only aged 18, but there is a lot of hype around the Norwegian attacking midfielder.

So much so, that he spent three years playing for Manchester City's elite development squad, before making the move to Upton park.

This part of his career is crucial, as he needs to be exposed to first team football which will serve him well when he does break into West Ham's first team squad.

The skillful teen would excite many fans if he made the move to the Championship.
