Excitement has been hard to come by for Wolverhampton Wanderers this season, having drawn 0-0 six times in a single campaign for the first time in their history.

In a season where they lost top striker Benik Afobe, manager Kenny Jackett has come under intense scrutiny for his failure to truly push for even the playoffs.

The youthful exuberance Bright Enobakhar displayed during a 32 minute cameo off the bench against Blackburn on Saturday was encouraging, but such dynamism has been ebbing away from Molineux at an alarming rate.

Clearly, more than anything, Jackett needs introduce some vibrancy into the ranks. While they are calling out for a goalscorer, the mere introduction of some talented youngsters is likely to lift proceedings for a team who have often appeared so flat.

We've seen just how much some young legs and a bit quality can do for a side in the Premier League this season. Tottenham Hotspur continue to impress with a dynamic young squad and perhaps there are some gems still hidden within the ranks in North London.

As Spurs look increasingly likely to land Champions League football, Wolves would be wise to enquire as to whether or not they could borrow a few.

Harry Winks

Harry Winks

Harry Winks is desperately unlucky that teammate Eric Dier has proved to be almost unstoppable in the holding role this season.

The England under-21 international is a wonderfully gifted distributor of the ball and excels when shielding the backline with his astute reading of the game.

His penchant for long range passing can turn defence into attack in a matter of seconds and help bring the breakneck threat of a counter attack back to the Midlands after what seems like an age.

A loan deal in the Championship would certainly help him craft a better understanding of when and where to release balls in a crowded engine room.

Cameron Carter-Vickers

Carter Vickers

Extremely highly rated at White Hart Lane, young American defender Cameron Carter-Vickers will, by all accounts, develop into a top class defender someday.

An imposing physical frame does not slow the young Yank down and he has the recovery pace required to become a rock in the rearguard.

Easy on the ball, it's no surprise to hear him compared to Ledley King at a similar age.

He'd excel as a foil to the more experienced Mike Williamson, even on a short-term basis.

Josh Onomah

Josh Onomah

Josh Onomah has had a run in the first-team this season, which may make the notion of a loan deal sound unlikely.

However, Mauricio Pochettino is likely to improve his squad in the transfer market ahead of the Champions League campaign, meaning there could indeed be some wiggle room to land the talented winger on a short-term loan.

Able to float across the frontline, his thrillingly incisive play from the right wing would wreak havoc in the Championship.

Alex Pritchard

Alex Pritchard

Another who is hugely rated within the Spurs camp, Alex Pritchard is currently on loan with West Bromwich Albion.

Injuries have blighted his progress and he has largely been unable to force his way into Tony Pulis' plans on a regular basis.

He starred while on loan with Brentford during his last stint in the second tier and perhaps Wolves could use the unfortunate circumstances that have somewhat stalled his career to their advantage in a bid to land him.

If they can, they should.

Nathan Oduwa

Oduwa

To really get the fans back on side, Jackett needs a winger to lift bums off seats and finally replace Bakary Sakho.

He could do a lot worse than making a move for Spurs' teen sensation Nathan Oduwa. Should he be available for loan, the speedy attacker would be a glorious addition to the wing department at Wolves.

His direct running after finding pockets of space across the frontline would give the side a sense of urgency that has not often been apparent at all this term.
