The young Englishman was brilliant on loan to Brentford last season, and was instrumental in the fast, flowing attacking football that got Brentford to the Championship play-offs.

Pritchard scored 12 goals with some of them spectacular, and he ultimately made the Championship Team of the Year.

He was rewarded with a new contract at Spurs and more importantly a promise for first-team football, but it’s not worked out so far for Pritchard, who has struggled to get a start.

Another loan deal would be beneficial to both player and club to another top Championship club, and after his form last season, no club would say no.
