West Brom will need to replace outgoing players effectively if they want to go straight back up from the Championship.

The Baggies are likely to be raided by other clubs as they take advantage of the club being relegated and acquire their best stars.

Salomon Rondon is one of the players likely to leave due to interesting a number of clubs across Europe.

He will need to be replaced by a similar kind of player if West Brom are to play to their strengths under Darren Moore, who was rewarded with the managerial role full-time after a strong performance as caretaker manager.

Here are five strikers Moore should be looking at....

Afobe was on loan at Wolves for the second half of the season where he impressed with six goals in 16 league games during a crucial period of the season for his team. However, Wolves don't appear to have made an attempt to sign him permanently yet.

West Brom could take advantage of this stalling by the Championship winners to sneak in and convince him of the long-term benefits of their project. They have good owners as well as parachute payments and a Premier League level squad, so they should be achieving promotion within the next few seasons. Therefore, he could get a route into the Premier League through them

Jerome had an excellent second half of the season as he helped spearhead Derby's attack after joining from Norwich. He scored five goals in four consecutive games against Cardiff, Aston Villa, Barnsley and Fulham. These helped Derby finish in the play-offs and nearly helped them to a victory over Fulham in the semi-finals.

Therefore, he can have an impact in the biggest games and could lead the line for the Baggies in the absence of Rondon because he has the physical profile to fill the role of a target man. However, it may take some prying to get him away from the Rams where he has fitted in well.

Smith would be an excellent replacement for Rondon because he excelled in a similar role for QPR. In 2064 minutes, he scored 11 times and assisted nine, which shows how effective he is at converting chances and playing others in after drawing the attention of defenders.

His aerial and set piece threat means that Moore wouldn't have to make too many changes to the team due to this mostly being Tony Pulis' side so they are experts in these areas. Playing to their strengths rather than overhauling the style and personnel is a way to make the switch down divisions seamless and potentially come straight back up.

The Czech Republic international would be an excellent fit to make use of a physical centre-forward. He could play as part of a front two or play just behind a lone forward in a free role. Either way he would be effective because he is excellent at exploiting the space that opens up ahead of him.

He was top scorer in the Championship with 21 goals, so he would certainly improve them in that department if played in his correct role. Derby are likely to sell him as they aim to cut down the wage bill ahead of next season, although he will be expensive. However, this is an ideal opportunity to bring in a player who can act as a prolific forward for them next season.

Martin is likely to be low down their list of targets, but he is another target man that could help fill Rondon's role at the club. Smith and Jerome would be better alternatives, but he would be a good back-up to have if they failed in their pursuit of those players.

The Scottish international was sent out on loan to Reading in the second half of last season after failing to impress Gary Rowett. He was also on loan at Fulham the season before that. Therefore, he doesn't appear to feature in the future plans of the club and could be acquired by the Baggies with the right bid. He did score a goal and provide an assist in 425 league minutes for the Royals, so he could be an effective spearhead for West Brom.
