Preston continued their good recent form with a 4-3 victory over Brentford in what was a thrilling game at Deepdale.
It was a much-needed result for Alex Neil and his men, who have started the season poorly despite many fancying them to be dark horses for promotion in pre-season.
However, seven points from their last three games has lifted the mood around North End and the players will be growing in confidence.
And, one man who was key to the victory last night was forward Callum Robinson, as our graphic shows.
The Ireland international was a constant nuisance to the Bees, with two interceptions and two successful dribbles showing how he was hardworking and prepared to attack the defence.
Yet, the most pleasing aspect for Neil and the player was his decisiveness in front of goal.
The 23-year-old has always been a threat to the opposition with his pace and movement but he is now adding an end product.
His five shots highlight how he was capable of getting into dangerous positions and he scored the two goals that ultimately helped the side to three valuable points.
That takes Robinson to six for the season and given his natural ability, he will be looking to kick-on and become the main man for Preston moving forward.
If Neil’s side are to have a chance of pushing up the league they will need more of the same from the forward.
