Nottingham Forest delivered the latest nod to their vast potential at the weekend as they beat QPR 5-2 at Loftus Road on Saturday.

The Reds have been inconsistent under Aitor Karanka since his arrival - though much of that can probably be attributed to the player turnover in the last window.

We have seen, though, that when they get things hooked up they can beat anyone in the league and their win over the R's was the latest demonstration of that.

One man, too, is leading the way for Forest at the moment - our latest FLW Spotlight subject Lee Tomlin:

Tomlin continued his performance levels against Reading into the game in West London at the weekend as he bagged two and set another up - causing havoc in the final third.

The attacker has settled quicker than arguably anyone else into Karanka's revolution and he is quickly becoming and indispensable member of the side.

The only downside to Tomlin at the moment, then, is his minutes on the pitch. If Karanka can get his fitness up so he can play 90 minutes week in, week out there's surely no doubt Forest will look to sign him permanently in the summer.
