Rotherham United have made a strong start to this year's league campaign, with Paul Warne's side well in the hunt for promotion.

The Millers are currently sat sixth in the League One table, and will be keen to build on some impressive showings heading into the festive period.

It's Rotherham's first season back in the third tier following their relegation from the Championship last term, and they'll fancy their chances of promotion, providing they can stay in touch with the promotion-chasing pack.

Paul Warne has seen a number of his players put in some strong performances that have seen Rotherham occupy one of the play-off places heading into their game against MK Dons this weekend.

If they can continue to impress, then the Millers could be fielding some calls for some of their key players in the future.

We take a look at FIVE Rotherham players who will be worth millions in the future.

Wiles has been a regular in Paul Warne's starting XI this season, and has made a total of 20 appearances so far this term.

The Rotherham youth prospect has been hugely impressive in his time in the first team this season, and he'll be keen to build on these strong performances.

He has experience of playing in the Championship with Rotherham in last year's campaign, and will fancy his chances of leading his side to an immediate promotion back into the second tier.

The 21-year-old is another Rotherham player that has been given consistent game time under the management of Paul Warne this term.

Olosunde can operate in the centre of defence, or at full-back, with the defender being utilised in the wide areas more times than not.

He's still got age on his side, and given that Olosunde has previously been on the books at Manchester United not so long ago, it wouldn't come as a surprise to see him become a key player for the Millers in the next few years.

Ogbene hasn't featured as much as he would have liked to this season for Paul Warne's side, as they look to win promotion back into the Championship.

The winger has made eight appearances in total, although just six of those have come in their league campaign this term.

The 22-year-old has previously been on the books at Brentford, and will be keen to show the Bees what they're missing out on at the earliest of opportunities.

If he can show some consistency in his performances, then Rotherham could be fielding some calls for his services in the future.

Lamy will surely cut a frustrated figure at Rotherham heading into the festive period, with the 20-year-old having just three appearances to his name in all competitions this season.

He signed on a one-year deal and would have been keen to showcase his talent in English football, but that simply hasn't been the case.

He faces a considerable amount of competition for a starting spot in the Rotherham squad, but will be hoping he can get a run in the first team squad over the festive period where changes are likely to keep the squad fresh.

Rotherham signed Clarke during the summer of 2019, and has made four appearances so far this season for the Millers.

He's not been a regular in the team, but it's clear to see that the defender has talent, as he's previously played for Shamrock Rovers during their Europa League campaign earlier this season.

Clarke has also been capped at international level for the Republic of Ireland youth teams, and he'll be hoping that he can force his way into the starting XI on a regular basis in the near future.

The hectic festive period could present Clarke with the perfect opportunity for him to stake his claim to Warne for the remainder of this year's campaign.
