5 realistic January signings that Burnley fans would be delighted with

Burnley have made an excellent start to the season under Dyche, and after their 1-1 draw with undefeated Brighton at the weekend, they sit in fifth, just two points off top.

Key to their success this season has been the goalscoring form of big money signing Andre Gray who they purchased from Brentford.

With Vokes and Barnes as back up, they have plenty of goals in the team and also with midfielders Arfield and Boyd, there is plenty of creativity in middle of the park.

But a Dyche team is based around defence, as when they were promoted a couple of seasons ago it was the partnership of Shackell and Duff at the back that saw them grab second spot, as well as having the best defence in the league.

They lost Shackell in the summer to Championship rivals Derby but Michael Keane has been an able replacement and their defensive record this season is one of the best in the league.

Vokes is returning to fitness but with Barnes out for the rest of the season, Burnley could do with adding some attacking options in the summer but any additions will most likely be a loan deal as they spent a lot of money in the summer on Gray.

Here are FIVE¬†potential January signings Burnley fans would surely be delighted with……
