The Championship is a stage for some of English football's most talented prospects and experienced players to ply their trade and showcase their ability.

This mixture of ability has earned the Championship a reputation of being one of the toughest leagues in the world.

In any good Championship side is usually a good pair of wingers, and the attribute most valued, is pace.

Pace is invaluable for any winger, and the Championship has this in abundance.

Bournemouth had Matt Ritchie, who made up for his modest pace with fine technical ability; Norwich had the electric Nathan Redmond, who was pivotal in their Play-Off triumph over Middlesbrough; Swansea's victory over Reading in the Play-Off final in the 2010/11 season was largely down to the trouble winger-cum-striker Scott Sinclair caused among the Royals backline.

The point is, almost every successful Championship side has been helped by a pair of quick, technically gifted wingers.

Here are FIVE of the quickest in the Championship.....

The Jamaican winger has been a star of the Reading team since arriving from Nottingham Forest a few seasons ago, and his ability to coast past defenders does not go unnoticed.

Accompanied by a fearsome long range strike and a deadly inswinging cross, he is a lethal weapon in Steve Clarke's side.

Derby County's star man in many ways, the youngster has bundles of ability, and whilst he can operate centrally, he is deadly out wide, and his pace can cause havoc among defensive back lines.

The Englishman is still young and could well grow into a Premier League regular, and may even feature in the England senior set-up.

Ryan Fraser

The young Scottish winger is on loan from Bournemouth at Ipswich after an outstanding season in the Championship last campaign.

He was sent on loan to the Tractor Boys after Max Gradel was brought in on the wing as well as Christian Atsu, so he could continue his growth, but in the midst of the current injury crisis, he could well be recalled.

Fraser has the ability to ghost past opponents and single handedly tear apart opposition defences, with his blistering pace and lethal finishing.

He is definitely a player to look out for in years to come.

Junior Hoilett

The Canadian winger has been constantly providing a threat for QPR over the last few years, and despite two relegations in a close period, has shone out as being one of the players to watch in the QPR side.

The wide man is blessed with pace to burn, and is willing and able to take on opposition full-backs time after time.

The Canadian is an asset in an underachieving Rangers side, but it would be no surprise to see him depart Loftus Road soon.

The Portuguese winger has impressed heavily for Sheffield Wednesday since completing a huge deal to sign for the Owls.

He got his Wednesday career off to a flying start, impressing the Hillsborough fans in his early performances, and has duly kept up this form.

His combination of blinding pace and excellent technical ability makes him the ideal Championship winger.
