5 potential Vladimir Ivic replacements that Watford should consider ahead of the New Year

Published

on

Watford will be looking to appoint a new manager in the near future, with the club recently confirming that they have parted company with Vladimir Ivic.

Ivic only took charge of the Hornets in the summer of 2020, and made a positive start to life at Vicarage Road. But results have slightly dipped in recent weeks, with Watford being beaten by Huddersfield Town in their most recent fixture.

That proved to be his last game in charge of the club, as they announced his surprise dismissal, despite the Hornets currently occupying a spot in the play-offs.

It is also claimed by the Daily Mail that the Watford board lost patience with Ivic after benching fan favourite Troy Deeney due to ‘disciplinary issues’.

Watford are currently sat fifth in the second-tier standings, and will be hoping that a new manager can guide them back into the Premier League at the first time of asking.

We take a look at FIVE potential replacements that Watford could look to appoint as their new manager.
