The absence of live football means supporters will be looking for ways to re-create that match-day feeling until the season resumes, with Plymouth fans being no different as they wait to discover their side's fate.

Argyle have enjoyed an impressive second half of the season which has seen them climb to third in the League Two table, but there are still nine matches left to play this term before their potential promotion can be confirmed.

It remains to be seen when fixtures will resume so one way that Pilgrims supporters could keep themselves entertained is by reliving some of their side's previous matches, with there having been some stand-out encounters to pick from in recent years.

Here, we take a look at FIVE Plymouth matches to re-watch as the fixture suspension continues...

Plymouth's 2-1 success over Stevenage represents one of the stand-out moments of the season despite the fact their opponents are firmly at the bottom of League Two, with Niall Canavan's 96th-minute goal sealing the three points on the day.

It was a difficult match for Ryan Lowe's side as Elliott List's effort had levelled the scores for Stevenage, but there was pandemonium at Home Park when Canavan found the net in the dying embers of the game.

The Pilgrims sealed a resounding 6-1 victory over Newport at Home Park to seal their long-awaited promotion from League Two in 2017, with Matty Kennedy and Jake Jervis both scoring braces for the south-west side.

This win meant Plymouth were guaranteed automatic promotion from the fourth tier after spending six seasons in the EFL's basement tier, and it represented a truly memorable afternoon for the club's loyal fans.

Plymouth may not have sealed a victory when they made the trip to Anfield for a FA Cup tie in 2017, but they certainly acquitted themselves well against the Premier League giants as they sealed a goalless draw on Merseyside.

Liverpool then came out on top with a 1-0 win when they travelled to Home Park in the replay, but Plymouth fans have every reason to feel extremely proud with their side's showing in the Anfield clash particularly.

The 2016/17 season was a historic campaign for the Pilgrims as they finally secured their place in League One, while it also saw them complete the double over south-west rivals Exeter City as they won 2-0 in the first meeting of the term.

Graham Carey and Paul Arnold Garita both found the target for Argyle as they came out on top at St James Park, with the three points cementing Plymouth's position at the top of League Two.

This was perhaps one of Plymouth's most memorable matches of the last decade as Peter Hartley scored in stoppage time to send the Pilgrims to the League Two play-off final following a 3-2 aggregate win over Portsmouth.

The match looked destined for extra time following a tense second-leg tie at Home Park, but Hartley then produced the goods in the 91st minute to send Home Park wild.
