Clubs always get players through the door that turn out to be a bigger success than others.

The same could be said for Luton Town as they will have had their fair share of players when rising through the leagues.

Here, we take a look at five players that you may have forgot pulled on a Hatters shirt...

Mawson joined Luton on loan from Brentford during the 2013-2014 season as defensive cover.

He ended up making just the one appearance for the Hatters as he started against Alfreton Town but found himself being withdrawn at the interval because of an injury.

The experienced central midfielder signed for the club in the summer of 2008 and was a regular in their midfield.

He made 89 appearances across two seasons and scored 17 goals for the Hatters. He has since gone on to represent plenty of clubs in the Football League and top tier of non-league, currently captaining Torquay United.

The midfielder joined the side in the summer of 2010 and was set to add experience to their side after a glittering Football League career.

Things didn't go to plan for him at Kenilworth Road however and he made just seven appearances before leaving for Mansfield Town in October 2010.

The winger signed for Luton in the summer of 2007 and became a regular for the Hatters thanks to his runs down the right.

He made 63 appearances and scored five goals across two seasons before moving to Chesterfield and becoming a legend there.

The Northern Irish striker signed for Luton in the summer of 2005 while he was still trying to find his feet in senior football.

The forward struggled during his time at Kenilworth Road as he only found the net eight times in 77 games and was loaned out to Cardiff City in March 2007, going on to make the move permanent.
