Swansea City fans have seen a number of excellent footballers represent their club in recent years, but some of those to have donned the famous white jersey are a little more forgettable.

The Welsh side developed a reputation for their astute transfer business during their early years in the Premier League, but the club did not always excel in their recruitment of fresh talent.

Swansea fans can be forgiven for forgetting some of those to have represented the Liberty Stadium outfit, with many of these players having barely featured for the Swans due to either a lack of opportunities or a simple lack of quality.

Here, we take a look at five players who probably forgot once played for the Swans...

Swansea's decision to sign N'Gog remains one of the club's more bizarre decisions over the last decade, with the former Liverpool man arriving in SA1 in January 2014 while Michael Laudrup was at the helm.

The Frenchman failed to impress in any of his three outings in a Swans shirt, and he will not be remembered fondly by fans.

Harley joined Swansea on a pre-contract agreement while they were fighting for promotion in the 2010/11 season, and he eventually arrived in South Wales when Brendan Rodgers' side had sealed their place in the top-flight.

However, opportunities were severely limited for Harley following his switch from Exeter. He did not feature for the Swans before re-joining Exeter on loan and then heading to Brighton on a permanent deal.

Nouble did not perform particularly badly in his appearances in a Swansea shirt, but the short length of his loan move from West Ham means he may have escaped the memory of some Swans supporters.

The striker made six appearances during Swansea's promotion-winning season in 2010/11 and he scored one goal for the club during that time.

O'Halloran spent a very brief stint at the Liberty Stadium during the 2009/10 season where he made just two appearances for Paulo Sousa's side, but his loan spell was cut short by injury.

He lasted under two months in SA1 before he suffered the anterior cruciate injury, and he then returned to parent club Aston Villa.

Moreira was signed to beef up Swansea's goalkeeping options ahead of their first Premier League season, but he was never likely to compete with the superb Michel Vorm for the club's starting spot.

The Spaniard made one League Cup appearances where he flattered to deceive, and he then left the club at the end of the 2011/12 campaign.
