Can you hear the jeering from the Midlands already? Wolves have become one of the richest clubs in the country.

'Those lucky so and so's' - a phrase being uttered up and down the country by multiple disgruntled Football League fans today, as Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers have been taken over by what is known as the Fosun Group.

With it comes big money and a man who's keen to move them forwards, new Chairman Guo Guangchang, who is hoping to take the club to a level never seen by the club before.

It gives enormous hope, and the planning will start imminently, as they look almost certain to replace Kenny Jackett at the helm, leaving a revolution of the squad at hand.

Their big bucks will bring in some big players, so here are FIVE players Wolves must now look to after their takeover this week..

Ross McCormack

On the most in demand players in the second division at the moment, with Villa, Newcastle and Norwich all eyeing him up, all of which have cash to spend.

Wolves are now also in that bracket, and players will be excited by the Wolves project.

With Benik Afobe leaving Wolves in January, they lacked goals, they need to bring in another star centre forward over the summer to bring in the goals.

McCormack is a gifted player and a born goalscorer.

You could define him as the Suarez of the Championship, he can do it all, he can score from anywhere, he can be a playmaker. He's a stunning buy for any team.

Jonathan Kodjia

Here's my thinking, I think Kodjia is a pretty similar player to now Celtic man Moussa Dembele, who lead the front line with McCormack last year to score a pretty incredible 36 goals together last year at Fulham.

Kodjia is quick, tall, athletic just like Dembele, but managed more goals last year than the latter, and a partnership between the two could be quite something to watch unfold.

Even if McCormack didn't come in, for any side to have Kodjia come in for any Championship side is an amazing move, which will undoubtedly bring goals with it to take them to the top flight.

Bakary Sako

They'd love this at the Molineux, despite snubbing a new deal at Wolves last year for a move to the Premier League with Crystal Palace, leaving on a free transfer.

Even so, he's still a cult hero in Wolverhampton, and despite a good start to his season in Croydon, his year fizzled out and first team appearances were a little scarce, meaning a joyful return could be at hand.

Sako has made it known that he really enjoyed his time at Wolves, so to help them to promotion would be an attractive prospect for him.

Danny Williams

Before I knew of any Wolves takeover, I told another FLW writer that Danny Williams wouldn't join Wolves in a million years. Wrong I was, Williams is a man chasing Premier League football and that's what Wolves will be targeting.

His wages are unsustainable at Reading who are looking to sell him with a year left on his contract, and the Premier League or Newcastle United and Wolves could be the destination.

The German-American is a fine, fine player who can play box-to-box or as a ball winner and run at defences, and would be some signing for Wolves.

David Marshall

The Scotland international isn't strutting his stuff on Match of the Day anymore, but he's still performing at the same level as he was when Cardiff were in the Premier League.

He's still linked with the likes of Everton, but Wolves have a bit of a goalkeeping crisis at the moment after poor performances from Carl Ikeme and Andy Lonergan the only other option.

Marshall would be a stunning signing for Wolves and would definitley be a goalkeeper to take them to the Premier League, and would definitley be available for a feasible price.

Wolves fans... What do you make of this? Do you want these players? Will you go up this year? Let us know in the comments below!
