Wolves manager Kenny Jackett has already said he is looking for January recruits to strengthen his Wolves side, as he looks to get the club's season back on track.

The Wolves boss is under pressure to deliver a promotion push this season after last year's close miss, but at the moment that is looking unlikely.

Its unknown yet what kind of budget Jackett will have for the window, with the club's owner Steve Morgan looking for new buyer for the club.

Wolves are already nine points behind the play-off places with a host of clubs ahead of them, But Kenny Jackett knows a strong second half to the season could lead to another play-off push.

Here are FIVE players who should be on Kenny Jackett's January wishlist......

Adam Armstrong

The 18-year-old is on loan at Coventry from Newcastle until January and has taken League One by storm so far this season, with 12 goals.

The young star is fast making a name for himself, and may be too good for League One currently, so a club like Wolves who are lacking firepower, should look at bringing in Armstrong for the second half of the season.

Bradley Dack

Dack is a talented player and has been important for Gillingham this season as they sit top of League One.

The 21-year-old midfielder can play wide or behind the striker, and he could add an element of versatility to Kenny Jackett's side, that could be incredibly beneficial.

Dack fits the Young and Hungry policy Wolves seemingly have and his talent is likely to attract interest from clubs in a higher division.

The Gills will no doubt want to keep hold of one of their most prized assets.

James Wilson

Kenny Jackett admitted he tried to sign the 20-year-old Manchester United striker on loan in the summer. Wilson has hardly featured for United at all this season and a loan move looks likely.

Jackett will want extra firepower upfront, and the United striker will have something to prove to his parent club.

He should be somebody the Wolves boss looks at in January, because him and Benik Afobe could be a very fruitful strike pairing.

Yoan Gouffran

Gouffran is on the fringes of the Newcastle squad and isn't getting the game time he wants at Newcastle.

Jackett may see the Frenchman as a replacement for Bakary Sako who the club have still yet to replace properly.

Gouffran would be a good addition for any Championship side, as he is a very versatile player that can operate in an array of attacking positions.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Loftus-Cheek has broke into the Chelsea side on a number of occasions, however the 19-year-old hasn't played for the first team this season and manager Jose Mourinho may send him on loan in January.

Wolves are lacking some energy in midfield and Loftus-Cheek would bring loads of that. If he is available for loan he should be one of Jackett's top targets.
