Liam is a product of Sheffield Wednesday’s youth academy and in early seasons showed lots of promise.

However, the 24-year-old midfielder has struggled to become a regular starter under Carvalhal this season, and looks like he is behind a few in the pecking order at the Championship club.

The versatile midfielder is not making an impact at this level, and perhaps a drop down a league for a season or two will help propel his career to new levels.
