5 players Ipswich Town fans could be saying goodbye to in January

Ipswich Town fans are getting ready for the festive period and with January just around the corner, thoughts are beginning to turn to the transfer window.

Ipswich are currently in sixth position, and manager Mick McCarthy will striving to achieve at least a play-off place this season.

The Tractorboys have had 12 consecutive seasons in the second tier of English football, and Town would rather not make it 13, and are aiming to join East Anglian rivals Norwich in the Premier league, or perhaps change places with them.

To achieve this, Ipswich will be looking to recruit some fresh players to add to their talented squad and maybe look to offload some players that are not quite capable of helping them reach the top-flight.

Mick McCarthy may well be looking at adding to the squad, so he may need to say goodbye to a few players in order to make room.

In the opinion of FLW’s Anthony Yeo, here are FIVE players Ipswich Town fans could be saying goodbye to in January….

I'm a happily married 36 years old with 2 children. I've had many careers in my working life from starting out as a kitchen porter to owning and running several businesses such as car repair centre, car sales and more recently a taxi firm. However my passion is football and in particular Plymouth Argyle. I'm now embarking on a career within the football industry where I can add my business knowledge to a job I am passionate about.
