Harry Wilson is a man in red-hot form, after starring in Derby County’s 2-1 victory over Swansea City on Saturday afternoon.

The Liverpool loanee made it three goals in a week and took his tally up to eight goals and two assists for the campaign, after a brace for Frank Lampard's men against the Swans.

His first goal was a sensational one - he picked the ball up from 25 yards out and emphatically hit the ball into the top right-hand corner. He showed awareness and pace to net his second goal, after Oli McBurnie gave the ball away.

Wilson has been a standout performer for the Rams this season, and if he keeps up this form in front of goal, then there is no reason why Jurgen Klopp wouldn't want to recall him from his loan spell at Pride Park.

There is no harm in preparing a Plan B, and here, we take a look at five players Derby must consider if Wilson is recalled by Liverpool.

Cardiff City's Kadeem Harris has been attracting interest from high-profile clubs such as Leeds United and Aston Villa over the last month.

The 25-year old, who scored his first Premier League goal for the Bluebirds last month, is out of contract at the Welsh club next summer, so could be available for a cut-price in January before Neil Warnock's men run the risk of him leaving on a free.

Harris would be a superb replacement for Wilson - he has pace in abundance and has been a key player for the Bluebirds over the last couple of years.

Another wide-man that has been linked with a move to the Championship is Kilmarnock's Jordan Jones - the 24-year old has been attracting interest from Swansea and Aston Villa over the last month.

The Rams were actually linked with the winger at the beginning of the campaign, before going on to be a star performer for Killie - producing four assists for the Scottish outfit this season.

The Northern Irish international obviously has something about him, and he could be a smart signing for Lampard's men.

One of the brightest prospects in the Premier League, Hudson-Odoi would be such a massive coup for Derby if they were to sign him on loan.

The 18-year old starred in Chelsea's 4-0 Europa League victory over PAOK last week, netting his first ever senior goal for the London side.

Reports have recently suggested that the young winger is reluctant to drop down into the Championship, but due to Lampard's connections with the London club, he'd be the perfect man to convince him to join the East Midlands club on loan.

Ronan Curtis was another name linked with a move to Pride Park a month or so ago, and the Rams would be stupid not to go in for him in January, if Wilson were to leave.

The 22-year old has been an influential player for Portsmouth since his arrival from Derry City in the summer - the Irish international has scored seven goals and produced six assists for the Blues this season, as Kenny Jackett's men go into December sitting four points clear at the top of League One.

Able to play either out wide, behind the striker or up front, Curtis' versatility would be of much interest to Lampard, and he'd be a great signing for Derby.

With his contract expiring at Sunderland at the end of this season, Gooch could be of much interest to the Rams, as the playmaker could be available at a cut-price.

The American has been one of many star players for the Black Cats in their surge up the League One table this term - netting five times and producing eight assists this term.

The 22-year-old could be a great signing for the Rams.
