AFC Bournemouth have recently announced that they have parted company with Jason Tindall after a poor run of form in the Championship.

The Cherries are currently sat sixth in the second-tier standings, but are winless in their last three matches in this year's campaign.

They were beaten by Sheffield Wednesday in their most recent match, which sees them sit 13 points adrift of league-leaders Norwich City.

Bournemouth were relegated from the Premier League last season, and Tindall succeeded Eddie Howe in charge of the club in August, and got off to a strong start in the 2020/21 season.

But recent results have dipped, which have seen them lose ground on their promotion rivals heading into the second-half of the campaign.

We take a look at FIVE ideal Jason Tindall replacements that AFC Bournemouth must consider in the near future.

Lampard has been out of work since being relieved of his duties in charge of Chelsea.

The former Blues and England midfielder struggled for a positive run of results with his former side, which saw them part company with the 42-year-old.

Lampard has previously worked in the Championship though, having taken Derby County to the play-off final earlier in his career.

Woodgate was appointed as part of Tindall's coaching team earlier this week, and so Tindall's departure couldn't have come at a worse time.

It remains to be seen as to what the future holds for the former Middlesbrough boss, but it wouldn't come as a surprise to see him being lined up as Bournemouth's new manager.

He struggled towards the end of his tenure at Middlesbrough, and would have a point to prove in the early stages of his managerial career.

Cook was previously working with Wigan Athletic, and coped admirably in difficult off-the-field circumstances with the Latics.

They were relegated from the Championship in the 2019/20 season after receiving a points deduction, but that relegation should have no impact on Cook's ability to find another job in the second-tier.

He could prove to be a smart appointment by the Cherries in the future.

Terry is currently working as a coach with Premier League side Aston Villa, and is regularly seen on the touchline alongside Dean Smith.

He is yet to take charge of a club on his own, but could be in with a chance of taking his first step into management with a club like AFC Bournemouth.

Howe is a manager that Bournemouth supporters will know all about, and it wouldn't come as a surprise if the club attempted to make a move for him this month.

The 43-year-old guided the Cherries into the Championship, and then the Premier League, before being relieved of his duties at the end of the 2019/20 season, after they were relegated back into the second-tier.

Howe knows the club well, and hasn't been back in work since departing Bournemouth.
