Jacques Maghoma has been Birmingham's best attacker this season.

Birmingham look to be safe thanks to Garry Monk's timely intervention because four wins in 10 games under him have taken the Blues out of the relegation spots.

They have a two-point gap on Burton in 22nd with Bolton being the only side below them to have a favourable fixture. The Blues have Fulham, so they are unlikely to pick up any points.

The 30-year-old has contributed to nearly 33% of Birmingham's goals because he has five goals and six assists in the league and the Blues have scored a measly total of 35. Therefore, he has a large influence on their attacking play, which deserves to be recognised because without him they would be in real trouble.

From wide areas, he is utilising his wide skill set to be a dangerous threat for the opposition. He averages 1.1 shots per game, so he doesn't have a high shot volume, which means he is relatively clinical with the opportunities he has.

However, it's his dribbling and key passes which are his most important areas because he averages 1.9 dribbles and 1 key pass per game in a team that has been defensively-minded for the majority of the season with Monk starting to alter that.

Maghoma's ability to beat players and break through lines with his dribbling is key in a team that struggles to break down opponents, and his key passes show the creative threat he possesses in the final third which is why he has six assists in the league this season.
