Aston Villa continued their remarkable run of form as they made it seven consecutive wins after they narrowly saw off Rotherham United in midweek.

Dean Smith's side face a tougher challenge this weekend though as they take on play-off chasing Bristol City at Villa Park.

But how do we expect the Villans to line up against the Robins this weekend?

Find out below....

One change that Dean Smith is going to be forced into is in defence, with Tyrone Mings ruled out of this one after being dismissed against Rotherham in midweek.

The Villa boss has recently revealed that Hause could be fit in time for the game against the Robins and he'll be hoping that he can be involved for such an important game in their season.

Smith could also be tempted to make a change in midfield as well to keep his squad fresh ahead of a crucial five games as the season heads towards a conclusion.

Glenn Whelan could come in for Conor Hourihane if the Villa boss wants more protection in front of his back four against a Robins side that will pose more of a threat going forward than Rotherham did earlier this week.

The likes of Jack Grealish and John McGinn are certain starters for this one, as the pair have been at the heart of Villa's success this season.

Jonathan Kodjia will be pushing for a start in this one after an impressive showing against Rotherham, where he netted the equaliser on the night.

Tammy Abraham will be hoping to add to his impressive goal tally, with the Chelsea loanee already having 23 league goals to his name so far in this year's campaign.

It's sure to be a closely-fought encounter between the two play-off chasing sides, where a win for Villa would surely confirm them a place in the top six so late into the season.
