Luton Town have turned momentum into a serious promotion challenge this season.

Coming off the back of a second-placed finish in League Two, they're currently third in League One and scoring goals for fun. Recently, they've put three past Gillingham, four past Bradford and five past Plymouth.

They're a relentless force, a cleverly crafted combination of League Two promotion veterans and new faces.

They face Fleetwood this weekend, a aside who started well but have faded of late and look to be on the outside of any promotion push. Nathan Jones will be hoping his side keep up the pressure on Sunderland and Portsmouth, making it anything but a two-horse race in the quest for Championship football.

Luton have a strong squad, players such as Jorge Grant and Danny Hylton haven't been featuring as they're romped up the table. With depth as well as strength, the Hatters could be about to earn a successive promotion.

They could take a big step towards cementing their place tomorrow and here's the XI FLW think they should be putting out.

Shea has taken over from big Marek Stech in goal and he's been capable and strong in the role.

He'll remain in goal tomorrow and hope to build on successive clean sheets in the FA Cup and against Bradford City.

Stacey is a quality right back attracting lots of attention for his displays for the Hatters.

He's started all 19 league games this season and will make in 20 tomorrow.

James Justin has been in and out of the side, but he looks set to keep his place for the visit of Fleetwood.

The youth team graduate has two goals in his last five games and is versatile as well as reliable.

Bradley was a great signing from Plymouth in the summer, he's a player looking to make a step up and he identified Luton as a great vehicle in which to do so.

He's been excellent all season, bringing steel and determination to the back four.

His partner is former Blackburn youth Matt Pearson, another able and committed defender.

He's forming a great partnership with Bradley and will surely be a first choice central defender all season.

While he waits for his namesake to come home for Christmas, Glen Rea will screen the back four for the Hatters.

He's made 17 starts this season and with the recent results it makes sense to keep consistent with him in that role.

Former Birmingham man Andrew Shinnie is thriving with regular football.

He's a real danger driving forward, but has quality on the ball which brings team mates into play.

He's one Birmingham might regret letting go.

The 25-year old is well past 150 outings for the Hatters and is one of the players who has progressed at the same rate as the squad.

He started out at Boreham Wood, but if he keeps on putting himself about he'll be a Championship player with the Hatters.

Elliott Lee is their leading scorer this season which, when you consider the talent in the squad, is remarkable.

He'll be hoping to emulate his father, Rob Lee, and play top flight football.

That wouldn't be such a surprise on his current form.

The goals haven't flowed quite as well for Collins this season, but the veteran of their League Two promotion is still a top striker.

He's repaid his fee already and has adapted well to League One football.

The former Bournemouth man has taken some time to get going at Kenilworth Road, but now he has he looks as good as anyone.

He can play out wide or through the centre, giving the attack a fluid feel and enabling them to make organic changes whilst the game is in progress.
