One of the standout fixtures of the Championship this weekend will see Aston Villa take on Bristol City at Ashton Gate in what is a very big game.

For the visitors, Steve Bruce is already under massive pressure after a poor defeat at home to Sheffield Wednesday, whilst the Robins are desperate to get back to winning ways after successive losses.

Lee Johnson's men have been strong at home this season but they face a squad that have some extremely talented players on Friday, and it could be a case of whoever is the most clinical in front of goal, will pick up maximum points.

Crucial to that will be Andi Weimann and Villa's Jonathan Kodjia, two players coming up against their former clubs.

And, as our graphic shows, they have both made a significant impact for their sides this season.

Firstly, Weimann has been a superb signing, filling in for Bobby Reid, who was City's chief goalscorer last season and has since moved to Cardiff.

As well as finding that finishing touch, the 27-year-old has a fine all-round game, with a great work-rate that ensures the hosts will be able to press and play with intensity.

Additionally, his ability to bring others into play is perhaps underrated, with Weimann capable of playing one-touch football if needed and is smart with how he uses possession.

Yet, those are qualities that Kodjia is starting to develop, with our graphic highlighting how he has been making key passes and keeping the ball well this season.

Previously thought of as a penalty-box striker, the Ivorian has developed a fine understanding with Tammy Abraham, another former Robins man, with the pair showing signs they could be devastating at this level.

For Kodjia though, he will be more concerned about improving his individual record. Whilst three goals from nine games isn't awful, the 28-year-old has the ability to be getting one in two.

Ultimately, it should be a very exciting game on Friday and whichever number nine is on form on the day, could secure their team the points.
