With the long-term injury to left back Luke Shaw, Man United will be searching for a new left-back to compensate.

Leeds United left-back Charlie Taylor is thought to be on the radar Manchester United, and could be set for a January switch to Old Trafford.

Taylor, 22, has played 13 league games for Leeds this season, and the youngster has been a shining light for the Elland Road outfit in what has been a disappointing campaign so far.

Of course, Man United will be eyeing other players in the next transfer window, and the Football League can be a great place to find young talent with potential.

United have previously done this, with the signing of Nick Powell from Crewe in 2012.

The Football League is full of talent, and there are numerous examples of players who previously played in the Football League, making an impact currently in the Premier League, with the likes of Dele Alli and Jamie Vardy excelling.

Left-back Rico Henry has attracted a lot of Premier League interest this season, with Manchester United among the the list of clubs interested.

Henry, who is only 18-years-old, has made an impressive 22 appearances for League One high-flyers Walsall this season.

The defender has been an influential in the Midlands side this campaign, and has been a fundamental factor in the club's rise to the higher echelons of League One.

An athletic full back, Henry has the potential to be a star at Old Trafford in the future.

Moussa Dembele

Fulham striker Moussa Dembele is one of the Championship's most exciting prospects.

The Fulham man has scored nine goals in 20 games for Fulham this season, and could potentially be the answer to Man United's goalscoring troubles.

The 19-year-old is a pacy striker who has a fantastic eye for goal, and is superb at taking on opposition defences.

The partnership that Dembele has struck with Ross McCormack this season has been nothing short of sensational, and the dynamic duo are arguably one of the most lethal pairs in the second tier of English football.

Zach Clough

Zach Clough is an exciting attacking midfielder who is capable of doing special things on a football field.

20-year-old Clough burst onto the scene last year, scoring six goals in 10 appearances for Bolton Wanderers.

Although he is currently injured, United should definitely consider submitting a bid for the attacking midfielder, who can also operate as an out and out striker.

The striker would find it hard to go straight into the first-team at the Red Devils, but he would be an excellent player to have in and around the squad.

Solly March

Solly March has been impressive for league leaders Brighton and Hove Albion thus far this season.

The 21 year-old winger has scored three goals in 16 games for Brighton, helping them to be the only side still to be unbeaten in the Football League.

The winger is left footed but loves to play on the right and cut in on his left, and he certainly has the talent to be a top player for Manchester United in the future.

Similarly to Clough, March wouldn't break straight into the first-team at the Manchester club, but would be a fantastic, lively player to have at the Premier League giants going forward.

Louis Reed

The performances of Louis Reed have left Sheffield United fans very impressed in the past year or so.

The 18-year-old central midfielder shows great maturity in a tough position to play, and has plenty of time to improve his game.

Astonishingly, the youngster has already made 29 appearances for the Blades first team, and undoubtedly looks set for a bright future.

Reed would be a superb addition for Manchester United for the future, and he could really flourish and excel at Old Trafford.
