It's fair to say that Luton Town fans haven't had an awful lot to shout about this season.

The Hatters have struggled to adjust to life in the Championship, and currently sit six points adrift of safety in 23rd position ahead of the final nine games of the season, whenever they may be played.

During these unprecedented times, too, the club have recently parted company with manager Graeme Jones, so it remains to be seen what the future holds at Kenilworth Road.

So, for a bit of light reading, here, we take a look at five former Luton players who now lead normal lives - click 'NEXT' to reveal them!

Griffiths was a key player in the Luton team that won promotion from the Conference in 2014.

The left-back made over 105 appearances for the Bedfordshire club, but has been unattached since leaving the club in 2016.

Benson is now close to hanging up his boots after an impressive career.

The striker played for Luton between 2013 and 2016, but now plays for Southern League Division One Central side Bedford Town.

Franks played 34 times during a one-and-a-half year stay at Kenilworth Road, before joining Stevenage in 2015.

The centre-half sadly had to retire last year due to heart problems, at the age of 28.

Another player who had had to retire due to heart problems is Barnett.

The defender came through the ranks at Kenilworth Road, spent five years at Town before joining West Brom in 2007.

Centre-half Mullins helped the Hatters win promotion from League Two under Nathan Jones in 2018.

The former Oxford man is now leading a normal life having retired from the game at the end of last season.
