The rise of Leicester City has shocked the entire world, and a man who encapsulates that rise is one Jamie Vardy.

The Foxes look on course to seal their second title in three years - except the latter was a Championship title, and this is a Premier League title. They have a five point advantage on the rest of the division, despite nearly being relegated last season.

Jamie Vardy is a man who's worked his way from Non-League football all the way through the top to where he is today - the Premier League's top goalscorer and now an England international.

But out of the strikers in the Championship right now, who else can rise as far as Vardy? They may not win a Premier League title, but of all the second tier centre forwards, is there a man who can step up to the Premier League and score goals at a devastating rate?

FLW's Charlie Firth takes a look at FIVE Championship strikers who could become the next Jamie Vardy......

Andre Gray - Burnley

Signed for a phenomenal fee from Championship rivals Brentford over the summer, Gray has an amazingly similar storyline to Jamie Vardy.

He was picked up last year from then Non-League Luton for a £500,000 by the Bees, where he scored 18 league goals before moving on the the relegated Clarets. He's now got 22 Championship goals as they top the league, and has been extremely impressive.

Though Gray may have jumped up to Championship level far quicker than Vardy did, he's still very young and has the potential to reach the Premier League and score goals galore.

Ross McCormack - Fulham

McCormack was brought up through the Rangers academy, and after a stunning season with Leeds United in the 2013/14 season, he sealed a big money move to Fulham in the hope of an immediate bounce back to the Premier League.

He has 19 goals this season but remarkably plays for a club threatened with relegation, and though promotion with Fulham doesn't look realistic at this point, there'll be plenty of suitors for him in the summer.

McCormack is one of those strikers who can do it all, and is roughly the same age as Jamie Vardy, and there is very little doubt that he could move to the top flight and score goals.

Nahki Wells - Huddersfield

wellsssss

After bringing in the Bermudan in a club record deal from Bradford City, Huddersfield have managed to keep Wells under the radar for some time without letting him catch too much attention, as with the likes of Gray.

He's only got 14 goals this season, but Wells has frighteningly similar attributes to Vardy, with plenty of pace in the locker and a high work rate to go with it, there's no doubt that Wells can become a top striker.

If Wells was to be purchased and developed by a top side I reckon he can move on to become a very decent Premier League striker.

Moussa Dembele - Fulham

We've often heard stories of how good the young Frenchman was for Fulham's academy teams, but Dembele has been unleashed into the first team this season and has been on fire.

He's formed a formidable partnership with striker Ross McCormack, scoring 31 goals together, 12 of which are Dembele's.

Dembele undoubtedly has an enormous future ahead of him and could seal a big move this summer if he fails to agree terms with Fulham, and could certainly do a job in the Premier League.

Abel Hernandez - Hull

hernandezzzz

Many labelled Hernandez a flop after his £12 million move from Palermo to replace Shane Long in the Premier League last season, after only scoring four goals in his maiden season in England.

But he's been reimbursed this season in the second tier and has been on a fantastic goalscoring run, scoring 16 goals so far this year.

Hernandez has pace, power, and a deadly finish, and if Hull are promoted this season there's no reason why he can't find his feet in the top flight and score plenty of goals.
