With Moussa Dembele set to sign for Celtic after undergoing a medical  at Celtic Park today, it may well open the door for more incomings for new manager Brendan Rodgers.

In one of the seasons longest drawn out transfer sagas, it appears that it is finally drawing to a close with Dembele selecting Celtic ahead of a host of European clubs like Juventus, PSG, and Roma.

He was one of the most exciting talents in all the football league last season as he plundered 17 goals in a partnership with Ross McCormack what almost single handedly kept Fulham up.

Dembele though will be hoping that this move further enhances his reputation as a goal scorer, while former Liverpool manager Rodgers will be looking for the young Frenchman to deliver the same form up in Scotland.

With Celtic raiding the Championship for one of its biggest talents, we at FLW have taken a look at FIVE Championship players who could follow Moussa Dembele to Celtic...

Robbie Brady

The Irishman has shot to even more a high profile during this summer's Euro 2016 competition as his goal for Ireland secured their passage to the last 16.

He could not do enough to guide them past France, but he has still made a big impression. With Norwich relegated to the Championship, Brady is bound to be in demand and Celtic is as likely a destination as any.

He has a wand of a left foot and could be the ideal man to play up in Scotland. Dembele could expect to score a bundle of goals with Brady whipping the ball in from wide areas.

Scott Sinclair

Sinclair is a name bound to be linked with the Bhoys due to his links with the manager, and it would be of no surprise to anyone should he make the move.

Aston Villa will be looking to clear players off their wage book over the summer and Sinclair could well be one to go if Rodgers shows enough of an interest in signing him.

Pace and trickery and an added bonus of goals make Sinclair an excellent candidate to make the move from the Championship to the SPL.

Daryl Janmaat

The Dutch international is bound to be in demand following Newcastle's relegation from the Premier League, and Brendan Rodgers was a known admirer of him before he joined the Magpies.

Janmaat is too good to play Championship football, so the lure of European football up North may well be enough to tempt him to move.

The right back can also look to the success of fellow Dutchmen Pierre Van Hooijdonk and Virgil Van Dijk as a sign of Dutch players succeeding in Scotland, and will definitely consider a move up.

David Marshall

Craig Gordon might well be the number one at Celtic Park, but Cardiff goalkeeper Marshall has been the model of consistency for the Bluebirds over a number of seasons.

He is a top top goalkeeper and could well dislodge Gordon, who although is solid enough, is not on Marshalls level in my opinion.

He might take a decent fee to prize away, but with Rodgers working in Wales for Swansea, he will know all about the Cardiff goalkeeper and what he would be getting.

Shane Duffy

Another Irishman who has impressed is Shane Duffy, and with only one year left on his deal, he might well be of interest to Rodgers.

Duffy has been excellent for Blackburn in a struggling side and might well be open to the move to Scotland to work under a coach like Rodgers.

He would add steel and fight to the back four for the Bhoys, and would be more than a good fit in the SPL. Blackburn will want to keep him, but may have to sell if he fails to agree terms on a new deal and Celtic come knocking.
