Marvin Emnes has struggled to make a real impact at Swansea, having failed to score many league goals for Garry Monk's side.

The Dutch striker has only made one appearance for Swansea this season, in the League Cup against York City.

The 27 year-old has previously played for Middlesbrough in the Championship, and scored 27 goals in six years at The Riverside.

Emnes is far from just an out and out striker, as he's more than capable playing as a winger and in the 'number 10' role.

Whilst Bafetimbi Gomis and Eder are both preferred attacking choices for Swansea, it may be best for Emnes to drop down to the Championship to get much needed game time.

A potential option for a Championship side is to loan Emnes for the rest of the season, with view to a permanent move in the summer.

Ipswich have had a disappointing start to the season, and are seriously struggling to maintain any sort of form and consistency in the league.

Emnes could be a very shrewd signing for Mick McCarthy's side, and could potentially get them further up the table.

Emnes could struggle to get in Ipswich's side however, as Daryl Murphy and Brett Pitman have formed a decent partnership for The Tractor Boys.

The Swansea City man could be perfect in the 'number 10' role at the club.

Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield have struggled for goals so far this season, having only scored 16 goals in 16 Championship games.

Newly appointed boss David Wagner may turn to Emnes to provide ammunition for The Terriers, in a bid to get them away from the Championship relegation zone.

Emnes' pace and power would definitely benefit Huddersfield.

Leeds United

Steve Evans should definitely look into signing Emnes, as he looks to continue to improve Leeds' form.

Currently, Leeds only have three recognised strikers, and with Evans persisting with formations with two strikers playing, Emnes could provide good competition for the likes of Chris Wood and Marco Antenucci.

The talented player could be utilised on the wing at Elland Road, and could help enhance the service given to the likes of Wood and Antenucci.

Cardiff City

Although this would be a controversial move, as Swansea and Cardiff are bitter rivals, Emnes would definitely benefit Cardiff.

Russell Slade's side have been very shrewd defensively, but have lacked goals.

The Bluebirds sit outside the play-off's, so the signing of Emnes could give them the boost to cement a play-off spot in the Championship.

Bolton Wanderers

Lennon to Leicester City?

Although there may be doubts that Bolton could afford Emnes' wages, Neil Lennon should definitely look into the possibility of signing the Dutchman.

Bolton currently sit 23rd in the Championship, and are in desperate need of goals and points.

Emnes could be a good provider of exactly what Lennon's side needs, and ultimately help propel the Trotters away from the dreaded drop zone.
