Brentford have had a thrilling time of it over the past five or six years.

The Bees have been on the rise for a while now, playing some of the best, attacking football in the entire country and, unsurprisingly, it has led to some excellent matches.

So, with football still deserting us due to recent events, we take a look at FIVE Brentford games you should re-watch...

It was the first time the Bees star-studded attack really ran wild this season, thrashing the Hatters 7-0 at Griffin Park.

Midfielder Josh Dasilva bagged himself a hat-trick whilst each of Ollie Watkins, Bryan Mbeumo and Said Benrahma also notched one each, with Mathias Jensen the fifth scorer.

This mental match will live long in the memories of many Brentford fans.

Against strugglers Burton Albion, the Bees found themselves 3-1 down at half-time, despite taking the lead themselves, only to turn the match on its head with four second-half goals.

Lasse Vibe and Sergi Canos both scored braces in the 5-3 win.

It was always going to be a longshot for Brentford to win promotion to the Championship on this day - but that is what they did.

Their 1-0 win against Preston at Griffin Park, combined with Wolves beating Rotherham and Leyton Orient losing to Crawley Town, saw Mark Warburton and his side promoted to the second-tier.

It was the first West London derby between the two sides for over ten years which will have made Brentford's win all the more sweeter.

QPR had recently been relegated from the Premier League but they did not have enough to get past their local rivals with a Marco Djuricin goal proving enough for the Bees.

It was a season which ultimately ended in dramatic heartbreak for Brentford but this 3-2 thriller will live long in the memory.

The Bees found themselves 2-1 down going into the final four minutes of the game, but two quickfire goals from Bradley Wright-Phillips and Clayton Donaldson turned the match on its head.
