Bradford City currently ply their trade in the fourth division of English football but are looking to build their way back up the divisions to where they have been.

Bradford's academy setup has produced some solid names but most notably is current Sheffield United striker Oli McBurnie who spent most of his youth career and first stages of senior football with the Bantams.

The Bantams are currently in the automatic promotion places in League Two and will be fully expecting to bounce straight back to League One after suffering relegation last season. Manager Gary Bowyer is building a squad with a mix of youth and experience currently and will be keen to develop his youngsters over the season to give them much-needed first-team experience.

Here, we take a look at five players at Bradford who will be worth a lot more money in the future...

The first player on the list is new arrival Paudie O'Connor, who joined the club from neighbours Leeds United in the summer.

The 22-year-old centre-back has been solid for Bradford in what has been his first season of regular action and will surely only improve as Bradford do.

The next player is Jordan Gibson, who currently operates in midfield for Gary Bowyer's side. His career started at Rangers before making the move to West Yorkshire, so he will be held in high regard having come from a strong setup.

His season has stuttered so far with injuries keeping him out for some games, but he will be eager to continue his development under Bowyer for the foreseeable future.

The left-back has been a first-team regular this season for Bradford with consistent performances on the left-side, registering two assists in 14 games.

Wood started his career with Leicester City and impressed in the Premier League 2 while he was there, so at Bradford, he has what it takes to further his development.

The versatile full-back started out at Manchester United's academy, just showing the talent he possesses and what calibre of player Bradford have on their hands if he develops as expected.

Riley captained United's under-23s side so was held in high regard at one of the most fruitful academies in the country, and he will be willing to prove why at Bradford in the coming years.

The final player on the list is Devine, who currently operates in midfield for the Bantams. The 22-year-old has made 12 league appearances this season, scoring one goal so far.

Devine has stiff competition for a spot in Bowyer's midfield and is holding his own very well, which bodes well for the future for him.
