Undoubtedly, FIFA 16 is one of the most popular video games on the planet.

Frankly, it would be hard for it not to be. The perfect game for the most popular sport on the planet, FIFA allows you to take control of your own club, play for your club, or create a team of players from the same league.

Though the Sky Bet Championship isn't the star league in the game, it still attracts plenty of players who see an opportunity to buy cheap players who, due to their stats, are still pretty great to play with in game.

The key attributes in the game (although this generally depends on the position) are pace and strength, and even players with a low overall ratings can be unbelievable if they're rated highly in these areas.

So, out of all the Championship players, who are the best to play with in game?

The former Lorient man only signed for Sheffield Wednesday in 2014 but made a strong impression at centre back, helping the club to the second best defensive record in the Championship last season.

This lead to links to the Premier League, West Bromwich Albion taking a particularly keen interest in his signature last January, but to no avail.

His 78 pace at centre back makes fine reading for any FIFA 16 player, combining with 88 strength to make a monster of a player, making him one of the best Championship players in the game.

Wigan Athletic must be kicking themselves for never giving this guy a proper chance. A series of loan spells saw him depart the club in January 2014 without a single league appearance, signing for Wolves permanently for a steal at £300,000.

He nearly helped Wolves into the play-offs last season with his 14 league goals, but unfortunately suffered a nasty injury at the beginning of the year which will see him miss the rest of this season.

He is still available in FIFA, however, and with 90 pace up front, as well as 76 agility and 80 balance, he's a rapid threat up front, and has the ability to hold a man off with his 76 strength.

Hull City made a very late move to sign the 25-year-old on deadline day last summer, who seems to be very highly rated in Norway, perhaps justifying the £1.7 million Hull spent on him.

The man bought into replace Nikica Jelavic is yet to show his face in a Hull shirt, however, as he underwent surgery as soon as he arrived at Hull, which means it'll be a few weeks before we get a glance of him.

He seems to have it all in terms of attributes. With 82 pace, he's a quick boy, as well as 82 jumping and 84 strength, stats that make him an ariel threat too, he's certainly a very good player.

Elvis Manu

It was an enormous shock when Brighton and Hove Albion beat the likes of Bayer Leverkusen, Sporting Lisbon and Watford to the £1.5 million signing of Elvis Manu, but that they did.

The 22-year-old has only made one appearance after making the surprise decision to ditch Dutch side Feyenoord in order to pursue a career else where.

All round, Manu has some excellent stats, the highlights being his 90 pace, 83 balance and 80 dribbling which makes him an unbelievable threat down the wings. He's also able to fend off opponents with 77 strength, and beat opponents with his 79 rated agility.

Idriss Saadi

Another signing that came completely out of the blue, Idriss Saadi was pretty much unheard of before he signed for Cardiff over the summer, after scoring 11 goals at French side Clermont in Ligue 2 the year before.

The 23-year-old is another one that is yet to turn out for his club yet, but this seems to be due to a lack of fitness. His only action in a Cardiff shirt was a 60 minute cameo in a friendly tie against Portsmouth.

His FIFA stats are pretty excellent. He has 82 pace, and has 84 agility. His physical stats are also very strong, with 84 strength and 90 jumping.
