5 best left midfielders in the Championship – Do you agree?

The Championship is full of attacking talent and boasts many dazzling prospects down the left side of the midfield, full of pace and technical ability.

Varying from young future Premier League players to seasoned professionals it’s hard to highlight five  of the best in this league.

Last season Michail Antonio was the stand out left midfielder making Team of the Year and earning a move to Premier League side West Ham.

Left wingers are essential components to promotion winning sides just like Marc Pugh was for AFC Bournemouth last season.

They have a vital role in midfield of being good technically, having a bit of skill, being able to get assists, as well as scoring goals themselves.

If a team wants to go up this year they’ll need a quality player going down the left finding holes in the opposition’s defence whilst also able to do his defensive duties.
