Wolves have already been very active in this transfer window as they look to build a squad that can compete in the Premier League.

They have signed Diogo Jota and Willy Boly on a permanent basis as well as bringing in Rui Patricio and Raul Jimenez but there is still work that needs doing.

And, one man they have been linked with is Swansea's Alfie Mawson who will surely be desperate to leave the Championship club.

As our graphic shows, that's perhaps understandable as even in the Welsh sides relegation campaign, he proved that he is a good player in the top-flight.

He boasts several old-school defender qualities, evident by his aerial duels won and clearances per game which highlights his good positional play and willingness to put his body on the line for the team.

Yet, another impressive attribute that will appeal to Nuno Espirito Santo, is the 24-year old's ability on the ball.

His 81.1% pass success rate shows how he can be trusted in possession and that is something the Portuguese coach demands from players across his team.

Wanderers have been linked with the player and he seems to suit the profile of player they want, with a lot of potential to get better too.

One worry would be the competition for his signature but Wolves are an ambitious club and if they could attract Mawson to Molineux it would be a smart signing, even if the Swans are sure to demand around £20m.
