Sheffield Wednesday can focus all of their attention firmly on the Championship - where they still have some work to do to make themselves totally safe from relegation - after being eliminated from the FA Cup on Tuesday night.

They failed to overcome former manager Carlos Carvalhal and his new club Swansea City in two attempts, losing their fifth round replay at the Liberty Stadium 2-0, due to goals from Jordan Ayew and Nathan Dyer.

There are a few teams between the Owls and the drop zone but only seven points which means they can't afford to dwell on that cup disappointment for too long; they still need a couple more wins to get out of trouble.

Their first opportunity to do that comes when they travel to Ashton Gate to face play-off chasing Bristol City tomorrow afternoon.

Lee Johnson's side have endured a slump in 2018 and will be looking to get back on track as soon as possible, having finally fallen out of the top six this midweek.

We've had a look at the team Jos Luhukay should play against the Robins...

Cup goalkeeper Cameron Dawson got the nod in midweek but I'd expect Wildsmith to come back in for the return to league action.

Earlier in the season, the Robins attack was on fire but the potency isn't quite there at the moment so Wildsmith might fancy his chances of keeping a clean sheet.

Vitoria loanee Venancio will be looking to help Wildsmith keep that clean sheet and take advantage of any lack of confidence to be found in the home frontline.

That said, Bobby Reid and co are full of pace and that has to be the biggest worry for the 25-year-old defender ahead of this one.

Pudil has international experience with the Czech Republic and he will need to utilise all of his knowhow to stifle an attacking line that isn't quite firing right now but can score goals from anywhere.

However, he shouldn't get phased and that may transmit itself to some of the Owls' younger players if the pressure starts to build. Fox was part of the backline that conceded four goals against another promotion-chasing outfit in Aston Villa and he will be hoping for an improvement in that area here - despite being on the road.

It was an end to end contest against the Villans and it might suit Fox and Wednesday better if this one is a slightly cagier affair.

Hunt was taken off injured in the first half at the Liberty Stadium but will hope to return to face Bristol City.

He will have to watch out for Joe Bryan, who is a real attacking threat and if he is still feeling the effects of that injury, it could be a struggle.

Clare was cup-tied for the trip to Swansea and Wednesday missed his energy in the engine room.

He netted in the last league game, against Villa and is developing a habit of playing well against the big boys.

Luhukay needs that to continue here.Pelupessy has shown himself to be a disciplined holding midfielder and that could be crucial against a Robins side who love to throw players forward from midfield.

He was rested for the match against Swansea so he should be full of energy and keen to stop the home midfield dictating the game.

Reach has class on the ball but he was unable to show it against Swansea.

It will be another test here against a strong, high-tempo, technical Robins midfield but they are not firing right now and confidence is bound to be low.

Reach has the quality to exploit any nervousness.

Boyd is finding himself in a slightly awkward compromise at left wing back but he wasn't exposed in that role against Premier League opposition on Tuesday.

The Robins tend to play quite narrowly on the right hand side and he might see an opportunity to get forward and affect the game from the left.

Rhodes got the nod in midweek and I'd hand him another start here.

Atdhe Nuhiu has been playing in recent weeks but putting him up front for a physical battle for Aden Flint seems like it would be playing straight into Lee Johnson's hands.

Rhodes offers a different kind of threat.

Joao has suddenly burst into life in recent weeks and could have scored himself against Swansea on another night.

He is nailed on to play here and he will hope that him and Rhodes see enough of the ball to trouble the home defence.
