Luton Town will be hoping to progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup this afternoon when Harrogate Town visit Kenilworth Road.

Nathan Jones’ side have been out of action for almost a month now, with their last competitive match ending as a 1-1 draw with Fulham.

Luton, who progressed to the fourth round last year by beating Reading and setting up a tie with Chelsea, find themselves a few games behind the pack in the league.

The Hatters will welcome back Mick Harford to the dugout this afternoon, with the Luton legend completing his course of radiotherapy treatment for prostate cancer before Christmas.

This, combined with Alan Sheehan returning to the club as a first-team coach, is expected to generate a huge reaction at kick-off within the Luton faithful.

Naming a strong side for the visit of their League Two opposition, Jones has made three changes to the side that drew with Fulham almost a month ago.

There are starts for Carlos Mendes Gomes, Henri Lansbury and Cameron Jerome, with Jerome starting his first game for the Hatters since the end of October
