West Ham United have drawn up a three man shortlist to replace David Moyes as their next manager and Fulham's Slavisa Jokanovic is among them, according to a report by TEAMtalk.

Jokanovic is joined by Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez and Burnley's Sean Dyche on West Ham's wishlist.

The 49-year-old guided Fulham to the play-offs for the second time in two years and narrowly missed out on automatic promotion this season.

The Cottagers defeated Derby County last night to book their place in the Championship play-off final at Wembley against the winners of the tie between Aston Villa and Middlesbrough.

Jokanovic, who has also previously managed Watford, is a target for the Hammers, alongside Premier League duo Benitez and Dyche.

Benitez has been a long-term target for the Hammers, who had lined him up before getting Slaven Bilic, and the owners could move to bring him in if he walks away from Newcastle.

Burnley have had an excellent season under Dyche, who used last season's survival as his platform to qualify for the Europa League this term.

Moyes is set to leave West Ham after guiding them to safety with his contract expiring upon completion of the season.

TEAMtalk believes the Hammers have devised a three man wishlist, although other reports suggest Paulo Fonseca is among the candidates for the job.

The Verdict

Jokanovic would be an excellent appointment for West Ham as he would bring his fast-tempo style of play to the club and the West Ham fans would love it.

The Serbian deserves a chance at managing in the Premier League, even if Fulham fail to go up.

But if the Cottagers do win promotion, you can see Jokanovic continuing his project at Craven Cottage, rather than moving to West Ham.
