Leeds United are set for a big summer as Marcelo Bielsa gets to work on building a squad that can compete for promotion.

One area that he will have to address as a priority is goalkeeper, with the Whites short in that department.

Felix Wiedwald, who was signed to be number one last season, endured an awful campaign and ultimately lost his place to youngster Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

Whilst he is a promising player, there are understandable doubts as to whether he will be good enough for a side aiming to go up at this stage of his career.

Therefore, they need a new keeper to arrive and have been linked with a move for Birmingham's David Stockdale but as our graphic shows, he may not be the best fit for Leeds.

Firstly, he clearly is coming off a bad campaign going by the lack of clean sheets. Obviously it reflects the whole team at St. Andrew's btu it also highlights how Stockdale wasn't at his best.

Another issue that could be significant in a Bielsa team is his distribution success. The former Brighton man has a good kick in terms of distance but isn't too good on the ball.

The Argentine coach demands that his sides play out from the back, so his keeper will need good distribution and become an extra player for Leeds in possession.

Those concerns, combined with the fact that he has struggled for the past 12 months, mean that the Yorkshire club should look elsewhere for their new number one.
