The Sky Bet Championship returns this weekend after the international break and whirlwind that was the transfer deadline day.

Garry Monk's Middlesbrough were one of the pre-season favourites for the Sky Bet Championship title, but their start to the season has not reflected the bookmakers' faith in Boro.

The club currently occupy ninth place in the Championship after five games played, winning two games, losing twice and drawing once.

Boro face a seriously struggling Bolton Wanderers at the Macron Stadium on Saturday, and they'll be looking to get back to winning ways to propel them nearer the coveted top six spots.

Phil Parkinson's Bolton currently sit rock bottom of the table, and have amassed a mere two points, so they'll be looking to secure their first three points of the season against Boro.

One player who's likely to be involved is £450k-rated winger Marvin Johnson, the midfielder signed from Oxford United in the summer will be looking to really kickstart his career at Boro on Saturday.

With Gestede ruled out for three months, Monk will now have to think about how he sets up his eleven without the former Aston Villa frontman.

Here's the XI Monk should field for Boro against Bolton:
