Wolves fans must surely be some of the most excited fans in the Football League with them looking very strong indeed.

Fans may not have been sure about the club's title credentials at the start of the campaign but they are well aware of them now and they'll be looking to get ahead of Cardiff and then stretch out a lead.

For sure, then, they'll be aiming to start that with a big game against Aston Villa this weekend and Nuno Santo will be looking at some of his big signings from the summer to step up and take charge.

It'll be interesting, then, to see how the likes of Diogo Jota and Ruben Neves perform now they are expected to lead but we've been thinking about the potential stars that could join them in January.

And, on the flip-side, we've also been thinking about who might leave the club in the next window.

With that in mind, then, here's one player who could stay and one who could go in the next market...

Axed: Michal Zyro

With all the attacking talent that has arrived at Wolves, it is hard to see how winger Michal Zyro is going to get many games this season for the club.

Rated at £450k by transfermarkt, the 25-year-old has been unlucky at times with things like injuries keeping him out of the side but now he just doesn't seem good enough with Wolves' superb attacking options and it could just be time that he is let go once January arrives.

In: Benik Afobe

A player who could really dominate Championship defences with power and pace if he gets the chance, Benik Afobe would surely be a hit with the Molineux faithful.

There's certainly room in the Wolves' squad for another out and out striker and with him not getting a look-in at Bournemouth thanks to Jermain Defoe and Josh King, he'd surely be up for a move. This is the kind of signing that would surely bolster Wolves' title hopes.
