£450k-rated ace in, Wright out: Wilder must select this Sheffield United XI to beat Millwall

It has been a testing couple of weeks for Sheffield United in the Sky Bet Championship, with Chris Wilder’s side failing to win either of their last two fixtures, which has seen them drop out of the top-two.

Despite a defeat to Fulham and draw with Birmingham City, the Blades still sit in a strong position, entering their weekend’s clash with Millwall just three points adrift of the top-two.

Here at FLW, we take a look at the starting XI Wilder might select at Millwall this weekend, as he reshuffles his pack to help his Blades return to winning ways.

Jamal Blackman seems to have edged out Simon Moore in the goalkeeping department, with the on-loan Chelsea goalkeeper once again expected to start this weekend.

Ahead of him, Jack O’Connell and Cameron Carter-Vickers retain their place in the back-three, with Chris Basham dropping back into a centre-back role having played most of his football at right wing-back in recent weeks.

Wilder has spoken about the importance of George Baldock, and with the £450k-rated ace back in contention, he should come back in on the right, with Enda Stevens continuing at left wing-back.

Centrally, in Paul Coutts’ absence, John Fleck and Mark Duffy are likely to once again be joined by John Lundstram.

In attack, Wilder will be expected to continue with Leon Clarke and Billy Sharp, who have already scored a combined total of 21 Championship goals this season.
