Queens Park Rangers legend Clint Hill has sent a short analysis of his goal against Leeds United in the 2013/14 season as the two sides prepare to face eachother this weekend.

The club shared a video of the goal, a winning one at Elland Road, on Friday afternoon and the former Rs defender was quick to respond, offering a three word description of the well taken goal.

Writing on Twitter in response to the initial post, Hill wrote simply: 'Right foot boom'.

It is a goal that came in the same season the West Londoners last won promotion to the Premier League, where they dramatically beat Derby County in the play-off final despite being down to ten men.

Hill lifted the trophy at Wembley along with Joey Barton but that was just one of 185 made for the club between 2011 and 2016 before he left for Rangers.

In the current campaign, Mark Warburton's side sit in eighth place in what has been a surprisingly successful season at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

A win against Leeds could see them rise up  into second place however, if other results over the weekend go their way.

The verdict

QPR fans will be desperate for another Clint Hill to step forward this weekend.

Two home matches without a win have cast a bit of a glum shadow over the club in recent weeks and they will know they are in for a tough test at Elland Road.

However, Swansea have proven that it can be done and QPR should take heart from their escapades.
