Watford could be in-line for a busy summer.

A lot of their summer preparations depend on their fortunes in the Premier League.

They currently sit a place above the relegation zone on goal difference, and should they go down to the Championship, several players could head for the exit.

Here we take a look at four Watford players who could leave in the next few months:

The 37-year-old has once again proved to be one of the nation’s finest goalkeepers.

Now in his second season at Watford (third in total), his contract is set to expire in the summer, and with Tottenham stating their interest last month, he could be one who remains in the top-flight if Watford don’t.

Another veteran of this Watford team, and another favourite among fans.

Holebas has been a mainstay in the Watford side for the past five seasons, but the 35-year-old has this season taken more of a backseat - his contract is out in the summer as well, and it seems unlikely that he’ll be offered a new one.

On his day, Deulofeu is one of the best players in the Premier League. The ex-Barcelona, Everton and AC Milan winger hasn’t been at his very best this season, but it’s hard to see him remaining at Vicarage Road if Watford are relegated.

Another player who, at times, can be world class, but Gray’s career is slowly dwindling away with each passing season. Now aged 28, Gray has netted just twice in the Premier League this season. He was linked with a move to Leeds United last January, and it looks likely that Gray will seek refuge in the EFL when the transfer window re-opens.
