Leeds United are having an extremely topsy-turvy Championship season but under manager Garry Monk, they've now somewhat stabilised.

After rumours of a rift between Monk and erratic owner Massimo Cellino were swept under the carpet, the Whites seem to have kicked on and are now picking up points which are taking them up the table.

Leeds currently sit in 11th in the league with sixteen points- a far-cry from their earlier performances this season where they seemed destined for another campaign of relegation difficulties.

Monk has got his players firing on all cylinders and after a fantastic Yorkshire-derby win over Barnsley, things seem to be really looking up.

But with some momentum now behind them, what must Monk do to keep the tide turning in his sides' favour?

Well, some fruitful additions in the winter transfer window will definitely help keep things fresh within his ranks.

So with that in mind, here's FOUR transfers Leeds can't afford to miss out on in January...

Rob Holding (Loan)

It's common knowledge that the Whites are in short supply after the sudden departure of club captain Sol Bamba, after the transfer window slammed shut.

One answer to this problem, if a deal could be thrashed out, is bringing in Rob Holding from Arsenal on loan.

After a tough start to the season, the former Bolton man really hasn't featured in the Arsenal first-team fold and a loan switch to Elland Road would give him some fantastic experience in front of some truly passionate fans.

Aleix García (Loan)

Young Spanish midfielder Aleix García is just one of a handful of exciting names coming through Manchester City's academy but now could be the time for the youngster to get some action out on loan.

At just 19-years-old, he's got plenty of time ahead of him but needs a bit of first-team action, which he's finding difficult to find at the Etihad.

With Liam Bridcutt facing a spell on the sidelines, he'd add fantastic cover to the midfield and would be playing in one of the most competitive leagues in the world.

Nathan Dyer

With Pablo Hernandez only signed until January, Leeds might need a little more strength on the wings in the second part of the campaign and veteran wideman Nathan Dyer really would give them some quality going forward.

Dyer has been struggling for play-time at Swansea City this season and apart from five minutes of Premier League action and an EFL cup appearance, that really has been it.

Monk could no-doubt use his old Swansea City connections to fashion a move for a player who won a Premier League title winners medal last season.

Callum Robinson

Preston North End wideman Callum Robinson has been fantastic for the Whites so far this season, and Leeds should definitely think about splashing the cash on him this January.

Signed from Aston Villa after two successful loan moves earlier in his career, Preston have a winger of real quality at their disposal, and Robinson is a player that real makes things happen.

He's pacy, direct and loves to get at defenders and he'd be an excellent addition to this Leeds squad.
