Swindon Town have been one of the sides to beat in Sky Bet League Two and they'll be hoping that the chance to finish the job is not too far away now.

At the moment, they are on course to make it back into Sky Bet League One and, with that, will come some planning as they look to establish themselves in the third tier once more.

Indeed, players will be set to come and go and, here, we're taking a look at four footballers that might well be better placed elsewhere in the summer - rather than staying with the Robins...

McGilp is on loan at Hungerford Town and with his contract up next summer, he's got a year left to show he is good enough for Swindon.

The loan spell will have a say, as will pre-season later in 2020, and it could be the case he ends up moving on if things do not work out.

Youngster Harry Parsons still has plenty to learn and Swindon might think it's time to send him out on loan for next season.

He's a striker that the club has high hopes for and a productive move away could be just what he needs at this point in his career.

Haines has spent some time at Chippenham Town on loan this season and Swindon will need to decide in the summer whether they give him a chance, or let him have another temporary spell elsewhere next year.

Chippenham have enjoyed having him, so perhaps that is a move that could happen again.

Young goalkeeper Smith might be best off getting at least a loan move sorted in the summer months so he can get some more minutes.

He's unlikely to force his way into the Swindon first team just yet.
