Sheffield United remain well in the hunt for a top six finish this season, with the Blades in touching distance of the play-off spots with just a handful of games remaining.

Manager Chris Wilder will be delighted with the exploits of his men following their promotion from League One last time out and will dream of leading his beloved side to successive promotion and a long-awaited return to the Premier League.

Striker Leon Clarke has been a key part of the South Yorkshire side's success, with his goals keeping the crowds at Bramall Lane entertained for much of the campaign.

However, with the striker ageing Wilder will look to bring in a fresh face or two in the summer window, with this quartet sure to be on the manager's wish list and certain upgrades on 33-year-old Clarke...

The midfielder has been utilised as a forward more often than not since his summer switch to Blackburn Rovers from Gillingham, putting in a series of excellent performances which have seen him emerge as one of the deadliest men in the third tier.

Finding the net and assisting his teammates on a regular basis, Wilder would be mad to pass up an opportunity to sign Dack in the summer, who represents a completely different option to that offered by Clarke.

Able to drop into space and feed his strike partner, Dack could work well with other man Billy Sharp and would certainly make the Blades a dangerous side going forward.

The former Huddersfield Town and Bradford City striker hasn't had much luck since leaving Yorkshire in the summer for Premier League Burnley, with a switch back across the country on the cards.

Wells is an adept scorer at this level and could be available for what many will consider a marginal fee when Clarets boss Sean Dyche looks to shake-up his squad, with Wilder certain to be amongst the Bermudian's admirers.

The Blades need to find another man to bag the goals on a regular basis and there are not much better at this level than Wells.

Wickham has been out of action for a long time following a devastating cruciate knee ligament injury but returned to action for Crystal Palace's U23 side in recent weeks in what will be a relief to the 24-year-old.

His lengthy lay-off has put the former Sunderland striker's career on hold and he could struggle to break back into the Eagles side over the summer with several options for manager Roy Hodgson to consider.

If Wickham doesn't prove that he has returned to the level he reached before his injury then he could be available on loan as he looks to prove his fitness, with Bramall Lane an ideal landing spot for the player.

Fall out of favour at Selhurst Park, then a fine run of form in Yorkshire will leave Hodgson with no choice but to get him back into the side.

Wilder made the bold decision to allow McNulty to head to Coventry City on a permanent deal in the summer, but could be tempted to hand the striker another opportunity at Bramall Lane in the summer.

The 25-year-old has proven his former boss wrong with a series of scintillating displays at the Ricoh Arena which have kept the inconsistent Sky Blues in League Two play-off contention, with it clear to see that he is too good to be playing his football in the fourth tier.

Failure to secure promotion this year will surely see McNulty part ways with Coventry after just a year at the club and Wilder should suck in his pride and offer the player another chance.

This time, McNulty will live up to expectations.
