It isn’t yet clear what division Bolton Wanderers will be playing their football in next season, with Phil Parkinson’s side still anxiously looking over their shoulder during the run-in.
Sky Bet Championship survival was the aim at the start of the season and that will not have changed during the final month of the campaign.
Parkinson will have full focus on keeping Bolton a Championship outfit, before he switches his attention to the summer, which will be big for the Trotters whatever division they find themselves in.
Bolton’s squad needs improving in the summer and Parkinson will know the need to add quality before the start of the 2018/19 campaign, which will certainly be a big one for the club, either trying to bounce back or once again stay in the Championship.
