Due to the nature of life under erratic owner Massimo Cellino, much of the transfer talk surrounding Leeds United centres around potential departures.

If it's not Lewis Cook leaving, it's Steve Evans. If it's not Evans, it's Mirco Antenucci.

It's easy to forget the Whites need to be active in the market themselves if they truly harbour aspirations of making it out of the Championship at last.

To that end, they've been linked with a move for Bristol Rovers goal getter Matty Taylor after his stunning form helped them up to League One.

His 28 goals have not gone unnoticed and with his deal running out, is believed to be of interest to the Yorkshire giants as they bid to draft in support for Chris Wood.

The 26-year old may not be the most glamorous of names, though could prove to be worth this weight in goals. Something which has been hard to come by for Leeds United.

Clearly, Taylor alone won't be enough, but it would be a good start.

Anthony Limbombe

The Whites tried for Anthony Limbombe last summer, though the 21-year old eventually moved to Dutch outfit NEC Nijmegen.

A direct winger who can move into more a second striker role, he'd be wonderful support for a target man like Wood, playing off him and drag defenders wide.

NEC are believed to bracing themselves for more interest in their starlet, with the Whites thought to have been keen.

Liam Bridcutt

Liam Bridcutt has reminded everyone why he was so revered at Championship level with Brighton a few years ago.

The Scottish international has put his Sunderland nightmare behind him and established himself as a top second tier defensive midfielder during his loan stint at Elland Road.

Though Evans' departure may muddy the waters at to whether or not he will stick around, you'd like to think even Cellino isn't foolish enough to let a player of his quality go.

George Moncur

Colchester United forward George Moncur has impressed in a largely awful U's side this season, scoring 12 goals despite their relegation.

Dropping down into League Two looks like hitting the Essex outfit hard, with the marksman nearing an exit on a free.

Like Taylor, he's proved his potency further down the Football League and would represent an astute signing on a free.

Sam Winnall

The Whites saw a bid for Barnsley forward Sam Winnall knocked back over the course of the January window, with the 25-year old marksman since having propelled them into the playoffs.

Still, with just a year to go on his deal at Oakwood, the versatile forward will surely be of interest once more no matter what happens in the playoffs.

A move across Yorkshire could well come to fruition.
