Cardiff City have enjoyed a superb season and are on course to win automatic promotion back to the Premier League under Neil Warnock.

The experienced manager doesn't have the same resources as some of his Championship rivals but that hasn't stopped him once again exceeding expectations at this level.

Either way, if the Welsh side do win promotion or have to settle for the play-offs, there is sure to be a lot of change at Cardiff in the summer.

Here wat FLW we decided to look at four players who are sure to depart in the summer.

Thoughts, Cardiff fans? Let us know in the comments below.

The Benin striker is something of a forgotten man at Cardiff as he's only managed three appearances in the league this season, without scoring.

Despite having a decent scoring record in Belgium, Gounongbe has yet to find the net for the Championship outfit and is sure to move on regardless of what division the Bluebirds are in.

Many were surprised to see Cardiff move for Feeney in the summer and whilst he has done okay it would be a surprise to see him in the Welsh capital next season.

Warnock has better options in the final third and Feeney has found game time a lot harder to come by since the productive January window that the Bluebirds had.

The forward only joined in January on loan but he has struggled to make an impact and is currently out with an injury that has limited to just one appearance since arriving.

Therefore, there seems little chance of his loan deal turning into a permanent one.

Cardiff fans won't have anything against the Northern Ireland international but they will see him as a pretty pointless signing.

Again, the defenders efforts will have been appreciated by Cardiff but the fans will hope to be a Premier League club next season in which case Connolly won't be needed.

He has been a decent squad player this year but suffers with injuries and the Bluebirds have better options when everyone is fit.

Signing off with another promotion will be a good way for the 30-year old to leave.
